Approval Notice Question

After the approval notice is issued and mailed to the applicant does it give an appointment for a particular day and time to come for the passport stamping etc. or is it upto the individuals to visit the office after they have received the approval notice ...

I have not received the approval notice yet, but I was just curious :)
 
Not quite , although that's what the letter will say. But the local offices work on their own hours etc. For example: on my approval letter it says go to the local office during so and so hours. But when I went there during those hours on a thursday the security guy told me they close the doors at 3:00 eventhough the letter says office hours are from 8:00 to 5:00. So check with your local office on the operations hours as well.
