Approval notice question

Hello,

I just received the approval notice for my pending I-485 case.

RD: Dec 24 2001
ND: Dec 26 2001
AD: Mar 18 2004

The problem is that the A# on the approval notice is different from the A# on my I-140.

But the rest of the details (case #, name, address etc) are correct and match what I had on I-140.

Has anyone seen this before? Is this a problem? If yes, then how do I get this fixed?

I am planning on going to the local INS office for stamping next week. Can I get this resolved there?

Check your I-485 application sent

If that matches with your approval, then shut up ....... go ... get the stamped.

Why should you bother about those morons ( hired on temp basis guys ) stupid mistakes.

Dont raise any thing on yourself.... just get it stamped... after that is done... who will ever have time ... in this service center to go and keep looking at the old #s...

You see what I am saying ?

Thanks Cary6 for the quick response.

The A# doesn't match with the A# on my I-485 application either. This is an entirely new number that I am seeing for the first time.

On the rest of my applications (I-485, I-140, APs, EADs) the number is the same. It is only on the Apporval notice that the number is different.
