My wife and I went for the interview on May 18th 2006 in Atlanta,Georgia. Interview was scheduled at 8am and we arrived there at 7:30.First ones to be called in by a gentleman in his 40's and we followed him to his office. We were sworn in firstly and he then asked us to take a seat. We were seated and talked to our attorney prior to asking us any questions. He kept looking back and forth through our paperwork and asked the same trick question to both of us....who were we married to otherwise it was the basic questions. The officer said everything looked good and that I would be receiving my approval and card in 3 to 4 weeks pending FBI name check. He didn't stamp my passport, take my I-94 or my EAD card and then proceeded to send me to get my fingerprinting done in another location.
On June 13th, I received and email saying that out I-130 has been approved and a letter came in mail to get my Biometrics No:2 done.
I received my notice 2 days ago:
My I-485 has been approved. On June 26, 2006, an approval notice was mailed.
Thanks to all of you the support and information.
God bless.
