Both spouse and self got approved on Dec 16 2004, got stamping done in Jan first week and have got our Cards.

Today I got an email (sorry 4 mails) reflecting a change in my spouse's case saying of all the things that an approval notice has been mailed !!! Following is the message from the web site. Is' nt this weird. I hope I do not have to go for stamping again !!!

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On May 11, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Anyone has had similar experience.

I too got a similar emails.

Basically USCIS, mails two approvals notices one for applicant and another for attroney.

Due to a some technical issues with system, it generated approval notice for applicant but fail to generate for attorney.

Technical issues with system has been resolved.
System is re-generating a two approval notices for applicant and attorney.

Please check the dates on your second 485 approval notice.
It should match with your first approval notice otherwise it may create a problem in future when you will file for your citizenship.

Thanks Mike,

Yesterday it generated later for me too. Earlier in the morning it was for spouse. Incidentally I have not recvd the actaul paper notice as it must have been mailed yesterday. I hope what you said does not happen (different date) though each day I spend here conevinces me more and more that no way am I going to go for citizenship (but again that is me !!!)
