Approval Message (Online and Notice) for a CP case???

Folks,

My I140 was approved today and I have opted for CP (Mumbai). I have two questions:

1). My I140 approval online at USCIS states the normal Approval message. Should it not say "that the application been approved and the same has been forwarded to NVC"?? or is it OK if it displays the normal approval message. Did you guys also see the normal approval message or was it different (meaning did it say anything regarding the case being transferred to NVC)?? did the approval notice say that the case has been transferred to NVC??

2). Based on your experience so far, how long do you think it would be before I get an Interview date??

I would appreciate a reply.

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Is it the approval on your approval Notice or is it your online approval message that says what you mentioned??

Please reply.

Sanjay,
The online message from USCIS will the say the same thing what you got, if you have opted for CP during you I-140 process then check after 2 to 3 weeks with NVC by calling them and try to enter your I-140 LIN\EAC whatever and the number and you will hear the status.
The time frame depends how fast you and your lawyer acts on the issues like Payment, P3 etc. Ideally it should take the same as posted in the earlier post.

thanks

Thanks Guys! Appreciate your help.

VM1214 and VJ - I am assuming that you guys are speaking from your individual experience. Please let me know. If not, then maybe I should contact USCIS to find out more or atleast be concerned about the fact that whether my application will be forwarded to NVC or not.

Thanks once again!

{It looks you have doubt so I would like to request you to post your email context from USCIS then I can confirm if I got the same. }

VM1214: here is the message that I see online. Is this what you see or have seen online which was followed by an Approval Notice (in the mail) that had details of the case being sent to NVC?? Please confirm.

Thanks.

This case has been approved. On June 22, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
