1) After getting approval how log it will take to get "Approval Letter" ?

2) What are things/documents will be submitted at the time of stamping?

Could you pl. share your experience.

Regards

It takes about 2 weeks for the original. The original will go to your attorney (if you have one) and they will have to send it to you.

You need to take the following (and this will be written on the approval notice as well)

1. Your most recent I-94
2. ADIT style pictures taken within the last 30 days
3. Passport valid for atleast one year
4. Your original approval notice
5. EAD cards and Advance Parole documents

Hope this helps

You will receive a copy of approval notice called courtesy copy. This courtesy copy is enough. You dont need the original sent to lawyer.

Can derivative go for stamping alone in the case of the primary applicant got approved early? Will they ask deriative additional document about the primary applicant or I-94, passport, pictures, approval letter, AP, EAD are enough for stamping?

luk12,

yes - the derivative can go alone. Its that person who has been approved, and thats who needs to be there.

it cant hurt however, to atleast carry some documentation about the primary - highly unlikely that they will even bother with that.
