Approval.. but...

I have just received the mail that my case has been approved. But I am confused. On 21 st my status online said they had mailed an RFE. My lawyer has not yet received it. But today I have just got the approval mail and online status also has changed to approval. Is TSC messing up something?

My wife's case has not been approved yet. This adds to the confusion and my doubt that there is something amiss.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Quickly print a copy of message and take it to your local INS for stamping before they change their mind.

Wish it was that easy :) Do take a print out of it and call USCIS after 14 days if you still haven't received your approval notice.

Thanks

I talked to some lawyers and it looks like it is approval after all.

This has been a wonderful place....I rarely see such supportive system in place here in any kind of forums. Thanks very much to Rajiv Khanna and his team for creating such a friendly and mutually helpful environment.

Thanks to all the excellent people here who have been so reliable and helpful during this long struggle. Thanks especially to Jaquelina for your kind words. You are there, hang on... if you are already not...

I wish good luck to all of those who are waiting...

Rfe

Today my wife's online status is updated with an RFE. It was the same date as my case status said an RFE was sent - Jan 21 st. What I read from all this is that the RFE actually was for my wife but they had by mistake updated my case with an RFE and then corrected my case status with approval status and now updated my wife's status with the right status which is an RFE.

Am I thinking right?

unfortunately, you can't conclude anything unless you have something on paper. I hope you are right...
