Dear All:
just wish to share the good news with everyone. Our case has been approved after 5 yrs of waiting. I-140 filed in 2002, approved in 2003, and I-485 filed 06/2003. Case has been pending name check for years and last week we had 2nd fingerprint done, code 3, and a week later received the card ordered email.

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting. I believe the namecheck nightmare is almost over for everybody, hang in there.

Congratulations!

My rd is 1/3/03.

USCIS submitted name check on 3/9/2003. Still stuck.

Did you do anything to clear name check?

we called congressman, senator, wrote letters to first lady, USCIS director, Congress... nothing proves to be fruitful. However, it seems that they have decided to move forward with cases pending name check for more than 120 days, prioritized by RD. So just be patient, it should be your turn soon, as long as there is no visa issues. Good luck
