Finally my term of being in exile is over.

I got the Approval notice on 6/19. I could hardly believe it.
The whole journey took 7years and 45 days!!!!

Strangely it does not ask me go for passport stamping. It says
the usual Welcome stuff and that I should be getting the card
in 3 weeks. Perhaps they have too many of my photos and
FPs ...

More later...no more digging

Hang in there folks...
Thankx to Rajiv jee, Kashmir and tons of other great folks like u.

Congratulations !!

My pleasure, and enjoy your freedom,

CONGRATULATIONS!!
This is my first time hearing about a person getting the card without passport stamping. You deserve it! Thanks for the encouraging news.

I guess you provided your ADIT pictures, signature and index finger-print alongwith your I-485 application. It was very common couple years back. Going to USCIS district office for passpost stamping is a new thing.

Absolutely terrific news! I guess you were the oldest applicant on the forum. Really wonderful to see you out of the swamp. :) Congratulations, and do enjoy your freedom. You absolutely deserve it.

Congrats

Anil,

You truly are a King now and more importantly your exile is done with. Enjoy your freedom.

Congratulations.
