Appointment with National Customer Service Center

Hello all,

I E-filed for EAD and travel document renewal last week and I received a email asking me to make an appointment.

Do I need to make an appointment with National customer service center? Is my EAD renewal dependent on this appoitment? because earliest appoitment I could get was in Sep 21st.

Yes you need to make an appointment with NSC as stated in their form. Please do so .. Yes the appointments are all delayed cause many people are just extending their AP/EAD's since they are not getting their AOS adjudicated. I have mine scheduled at SJ on Sep 24th

You don't have to wait after making an appointment

I have seen that application support centers are usually empty. So, you can just walk in for picture/finger print, and usually they do not return you without picture/finger print. Other people might be able to share their experience. I tried once successfully.
