This is an employment-based case. My i-485 was initially filed by 06/02 to Vermont Service Center. Got an appointment for fingerprints 08/02. By 10/03 it was transfered to Washington DC district office (no RFE ever). Last week, I got an appointment THROUGH INFOPASS at Fairfax new service? center next week.
I have some questions I'd appreciate other members to help me with. Please consider (a) USCIS is already late at processing my case and/or scheduling the "final" interview, (b) I haven't got any fingerprints appointment since 08/02 (I've read in this cases fingerprints are only valid for a year):
1- Is this just an appointment to get info about my case (like I've read at another websites) or -given the fact that USCIS is "late" with my case- should I take this appointment as that "final" one?
2. Should I ask my sponsor for the letter USCIS normally ask for the final appointment?
Thanks, all input highly appreciated
