Can one schedule more than one appointment at the time? Or, do you have to cancel one in order to schedule another one.
 
You have to cancel the existing one in order to make another one. The website wont let you make a new one otherwise. One thing you can do is try calling the Canada Consulate 1-888-840-0032 and see if they have any available for the time frame you are looking for. If so, then you can cancel the existing one and get a new appointment. But mind you calling this number, you will be charged 1.50 canadian $ per minute.

I came across a similar situation and didnt have much option. Hope this helps.

Is there a difference in regards what's available out there? I'm wonder how they sometime get into negative numbers. I'm still waiting for papers to come in here to Canada (could be another month), but I would hate to wait weeks, after I get everything and ready for the interview. Although flying to Calgary is always an option, the trip from Toronto will top $1,000.

Are they flexible (phone service) to squize in into current week scheduling, when special circamctances exists (family member hospitalization)?
 
ya..im not sure as to how they get a negative number..i have seen that too..

In a situation where some one is in a hospital you will need a proof like a letter from doctor or something that its an emergency. Lot if times I have read in this forum that applicants have been rejected due to lack of documents to show its an emergency.
what you can do is get a date appx at a time you think your docs are going to come in. Its a guess cause you never know in when they will come in.
