appointment for stamping at LA

Anyone did their stamping at the Los Angeles center is about to?

I tried to make an appointment online, but it says no appointments
are available. dont have their phone # either. Should I just go as walk in? Any suggestion on when to go? and do you know how long do I have to wait?
and how long does it takes them to send the card?
 
When I first tried to make an appointment for downtown LA there was no slot available either. Then after a few days I tried again and quite a few slots opened up. I saw somebody in this forum saying that he tried again on the same day and new slots became available for him.

My appointment was 6:30am, but I got there around 6:10am. Many people scheduled for 6:15 already formed a line at the door, but there were a lot of no-appointment people standing around also. The guard just instructed them to form another line. And of course we 6:30 people stood in the 3rd line. After they let in the 6:15 people, and us 6:30 people were still waiting; they let those unscheduled people in. I guess it's because it was not that crowded that morning, I'm not sure.

My stamping was on 9/2, and I received the card on 10/22.

guess I will just go there tommorrow and see what happens.
 
Don't go without an appointment, otherwise you will be instructed by the security guard to make an appointment in the building. I am positive about this :-)
