I had sent a form AR-11 withing 10 days of my move also sent out 2 letters to Nebraska Servcie Center informing them the same and spoke to CSR on the 800 # 2 times , both time I was told it will be updated withing 3-4 weeks. Its been more than 3 months and I have not receievd any confirmation of the change of address. Today when I spoke to a customer service rep at the BCIS 800 # today to ask whether they have updated the address in their database she adviced me to go to the local INS office or send a letter again to the Nebraska Service Centre. Since I had already sent a letter I asked her that I would like to go to the local INS office and she gave me an appointment.
Can anyone please advice me whether it would be a good idea to go to the local INS office . What questions they may ask? Will it delay my case in any way? My company has filed my Green Card from a Nebraska Service Center where they have a branch office but my work place is in a different state at a different service centre where I have got this appointment. Will they raise any issues on this.
My company will move me to the nebraska service centre office once I get the GC.
