Applyinig for H1B stamping again in New delhi ? do I have to take appointment

I have an H1 stampx from New Delhi and am currently working in US. Need to go and get passport stamp again in January 2004 with H1 (I797 H1 extension approved).
Do I need an appointment? tts visa site seems to say that appointment is not required but one never knows when the rules get changed . Any info will be useful
 
Do they ask for W2 in H1

Do I have to submit W2 during H1 application for stamping?
Delhi US consulate website does not mention it. TTS Delhi may ask for it (from personal experience - TTS list of needed documents differs from that of US consulate. They also differed in if originals or copies were needed the last time I went)
Need to know if people were specifically asked for W2
My W2 for last year is screwed up. Have been issued another W2 but consulate may suspect some issues.
 
you can try and take Tax Transcripts instead of W2's, it has all the information you submitted to IRS when filling your Tax return, Consulate should be fine with it. You can request them from IRS for the last four years if you filed 1040

One other thing that might help is the letter you get from Social Security Office every year with details about you past earnings and your eligiblity for SS, even that is valid i had a friend who took it to chennai and they were fine with it
