Applying To Bring a Spouse to The States While N400 Application is Pending

Hello Everyone .... I would like your thoughts regarding this issue. I am wondering whats the processing time to apply to bring a spouse from overseas here ? My N400 application is currently pending and I am in the process of engagment with someone overseas and would like to know how long will it take till they are able to be here? Your thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated.

As an LPR, the only option is to file an I-130 for your spouse (once you are married), and then wait for the priority date to become current. At that point your spouse would go through CP and interview for an immigrant visa at their local US consulate.

Presumably somewhere along this path, your N-400 would be completed, and you'd be in a position to upgrade your petition to IR category and make the priority date current.
