applying for visitor visa when H1 extension is not stammped in the passport

Hi :

I want to feedback on following case.

1. I want to invite my in-laws on visitors visa from India.

2. I have my H1 visa has expired but got the extension approved on H1.
Extension is not yet stamped in the passport.

3. H1 Extention has already sent for stamping.


My concern is

Will there be any problem at consulate office , as renewed visa is not stammped in the passport.
( I have approved H1 renewal notice with me and can attach it .)

Please help .

No problem. Send them a copies of your new H1 approval
notice along with the copies of passport (copy all pages).

applying Visitor visa with out H1 stamping

I have almost same situation

1. I want to invite my in-laws on visitors visa from India.

2. I have my H1 visa has expired but applied for extention on got the receipt notice on November 2003 and still waiting for approval.

3. Got my EAD card on November 2003 but not using the EAD

My concern is

Will there be any problem at consulate office at channi, planning to apply after H1 get approved but it is not going to get stamped in the passport.

I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance..
