Hi,
My wife is appying for visascreening in type 2 with FCCPT, currently she is a PTLA and is expecting to get the license from CA in Apr-May time frame. She is filing now itself with FCFPT just to keep all the credentials evaluated, TOEFL,TSE completed and other requirements done in the mean time.
She will be applying for Type 2 with FCCPT (visascreen for INS only).
Looks like Type 2 is for applicants who are already licensed in US. So now in the column where she is supposed to mention the countries/states in which she is licensed, she can only fillup 'Inida'.
1. There can she mention along with 'India' that she is currently a PTLA and will receive lic. from CA shortly?
2. Will they wait untill she reports her lic number or will they reject it under type 2?
I can go with type 1 and try to provide her lic from india but there are 2 risks involved one it will not be easy to provide lic. proof from india and two since she has only 3.5 yrs of PT education there are rumours that if we apply for type 1 FCCPT might reject it as they require atleast 5 yrs of PT ed. now and that they will not raise flag on num of study yrs if we provide US lic and hence she is going for type 2.
Please let us know if we are misunderstanding any of the procedures.
thanks
