My wife is in F1 visa and I filed our I-485/AP/EAD application in November and we\'re waiting for our EAD to be approved.
My wife got a TA position in her university. Can she apply for a SSN (Social Security Number) with her F1 Visa, I-20 and work part time at her university as a TA before she gets the EAD?
As I know, Any F1 visa holder can apply for SSN and work at university. But since my wife is I-485 pending, I don\'t know whether it\'s legal for her to do that although she is in F1.
