Applying for spouse PR from US

Hello,
I am currently living in US on H1B visa. I got my Canadaian PR but moved back to US. I am now married and my wife is on H4 visa. Are there any possibilites for applying for my wife's immigration from US or Do I need to go to Canada and then apply? I am finishing 6 years on my H1B visa next year.
So I want to move to Canada next year. But need to get my wife's immigration before that.

The company which I work for had a branch in Canada. So, Is it better to go using work permit?

Please kindly let me know which option is better for my case.

Thanks a lot,
Regards.

To sponsor your wife you have to be physically present in Canada. There is getting around that.

PR Card of Wife on H4B

My PR card got approved in Nov and I got married in Dec.
I have already submitted my documents and waiting for the passport request.

How do I apply for the PR card of my wife? Does she have to go through the same process as mine.

Thnx

You got your Initial Assessment in August - right. How did you come to know that your PR has been approved? Just curious.

After initial assessment the background and security check start. Once your medical, background and security check are received and are Ok you will get passport request.

Please inform Buffalo ASAP that you got married. You will have to add your wife to your application(If you search here or the internet you will come to know how to add your wife). Then they will send medicals for your wife. Once medical and background check is cleared you will get passport request for yourself and your wife.

If you get passport request now please dont send your passport.

Hey Kenny,

I got the request to send my landing fees. Now should I send my check and inform the change in marital status. The letter says that if the marital status has changed, I need to inform the office before sending the check. Please reply asap. Thanks.

PS: I also searched in the forum but did not get any concrete way to go about applying for my wife.

You are wasting precious time Ashrock. You got married in December and you have not notified Buffalo about change in marital status? You just wasted 3 months!

Please send Buffalo a letter explaining them that you got married and want to add your wife to your application. Ask your spouse to fill the schedule 1 to IMM0008 and the additional family information form. Also send your marriage certificate, photos etc. and payment of the processing fee of C$550.00.

Then Buffalo will issue you medical documents for your wife. After medical and background check is cleared you will get passport request.

I have faxed them about the change of my marital status. Should I wait to hear from them or fill out the form and send it to them.

Thanks for your help Kenny.
