I applied for my father and his application was approved. We're now awaiting his embassy interview. When we applied, my husband had a job that met the income requirement to sponsor my dad based on his earnings over the past three years. However, he lost his job three months ago, and we're considering applying for SNAP. I'm concerned that applying for SNAP might affect my dad's immigration status. What do you think we should do?
