If I am in Canada on a visitor visa and came from the US where I worked for more than a year, can I apply for a green card from Canada? I am from Poland. I understand that I would have to send my documents to the office in the US like Buffalo, but is that allowed? Or would I have to apply to my place of citizenship back in Warsaw, Poland? Please let me know. Thank you.
