Hi Guys,

I became USC recently and are applying I-130 for my Parents. The orignal birth certificate issued to me from my native country contained only my father,s name. I recently requested and received a revised birth certificate showing both parent names . Please advice should I submit the new birth certificate with I-130 or the orignal birth certificate (Contained in my A-file) or both?

Thanks

Hello irfnor76. It's me , Rick.
Don't they have both your paternal and maternal last names on your G-325?
I would submit the one contained on your A-File or USC File.

Hi Rick,

How its going? Your signature shows you are still waiting for oath. Thats insane.
Yes my G325 for I-130 which I submitted for my green card application contain both my parents name. There is no requirement for G-325 for Parents 1-130 applications. Anyhow I applied for parents I-130 and submitted both the birth certificates(old and revised one). Let see how it goes. Thanks again for the reply and good luck with your oath.
