Hi,
I'm permanent resident since 02/2004 but was out of the country for 2 years with permission for extension and then came back in Nov 2006. I have completed 4 years and 9 months since Nov 2006 and have not been out of country for more than 6 months during this period.
In the Document Checklist document for N-400 it says following:
If you have taken any trip outside the United States that lasted 6 months or more since becoming a Lawful Permanent
Resident, send evidence that you (and your family) continued to live, work and/or keep ties to the United States, such as:
1) An IRS tax return “transcript” or an IRS-certified tax return listing tax information for the last 5 years (or for the last 3 years if
you are applying on the basis of marriage to a U.S. citizen).
2) Rent or mortgage payments and pay stubs.
Do I need to submit any document if I have not been out of country for more than 6 months in last 5 years? If so then which document should I submit?
Thanks for the help.
