My husband and I got divorce last year. Now I am getting ready to apply for my citizen ship. I got my green card thru my ex-husband on employment catg. I was dependant at that time. He is threatening me to leave the country for the last 6 months. He said he will report to INS to cancel my green card. At this time, is it safe to apply for my citizen ship. Is there any problem in applying for N-400.I have nearly (total) 1 year of abroad travel during my last 5 years with GC.. Gurus, please advice.

He can not touch your green card or your eligibility to apply for citizenship. If he continues to threaten you, you may seek recourse with the law.
Remind him, this is not India for him to do as he pleases. You are in america and also are soon going to be an american and so be bold and think like an american.

Just make sure you don't get on that "Ship" full of Citizens (Citizen ship) on its way back to India!! Learn English properly, then apply for CITIZENSHIP (ONE WORD) huuh!

And how did you get that information that she married somebody in order to get a green card? This forum is not to judge people but to help them, particularly when their situation is difficult.
