Applying for my husband later, after the end of the dv program

I do have an interview for me and my husband.
What happens if my husband can't attend?, I'm the main applicant, is it going to affect my visa ? is it possible for my visa to processed separately ?
if my husband couldn't take the dv visa , is it possible for him to get a visalater under another route?

Yes you can be processed separately. If he can't follow-to-join before September, you can apply for him once you have your green card as spouse of LPR, but I believe this route takes a couple of years.
