I would really appreciate help on this matter...My friend is presently working for a small company, in which, besides the owner-manager, he is currently the only employee (there were 7 of them, but they all got laid off last year)...His H-1B is through this company...One of his clients, through negotiations with his boss, has agreed to file for his labor certification...I'd like to know what are the chances of his application being approved, for a GC, if a non-employer files for it...
I would definitely appreciate help on this, as time is running out for him, and if his chances are not good, he would have to quickly look for a new employer...Thanks...
