applying for I-485 and EAD

I'm keen on starting a business and have a couple questions regarding applying for I-485 and the EAD.

My labor was approved on April 7, 2007. I have a priority date of June 2004. Currently, applications prior to May 2001 are being processed for EB3. Does this mean I can't apply for my I-485 until my priority dates becomes available? If I can apply for my I-485 (and thus for my EAD as well), do I have to wait until my priority date becomes available to receive my EAD?

you cannot apply for 485 until your PD becomes current. The EAD benefits go along with the 485 unfortunately which means you have to wait. You are not alone in this.
