I am currently on H1-B visa which was stamped on Sep 2004 and is valid until April 2007. In August 2005 I have changed work location (still working with the same employer) so my company filed an ammendment and I got a new I-797 with a new LIN number.
I went out of country for my wedding but came back on the same old visa. I am now applying for my wifes H4 and in the application for Petition information I provided my new I-797 information.
My question is should I provide the new I-797 information or the old one. If i provide the new I-797 information then the LIN number that shows on my visa will not match, Is this fine. Please let me know what is the right path to take.
