I have a situation in which wife is on H1-B but her company is laying her off in a month . Her husband who is also on h1-B has got a new job and new company is about to file for his H1 transfer. Now my question is when wife will be laid off , she has to apply to change her status from H1 to H4. But since her husband visa is too under transfer ..will it effect her h4 application?
