Can anyone help with this question? I am on a J1 visa with no HRR, my J1 expires in March next year, I am currently working on my J1 as a helicopter pilot. I have become invaluable to my employer and he wishes to apply for an H1 for me, am I right in thinking he cannot apply until April 07 for work starting in October 07 or can I adjust my status to fill in the gap between March and April or October? Thanks!!
