Hi ,
I entered into this country on H1B visa in 2001 and due to bad market I planned to do my masters .I converted my visa status to F1 in 2003 and now i am done with my masters . My OPT(optional Practical Training) starts from May 2004 and ends in May 2005, but the new H1B Quota which starts from APril 2004 will end by Jan 2005 that is for sure , so my question is:
A. I want to file for H1B now but can i have the start date on H1B from May 2005.
B. Or will i be considered as "H1B transfer case " because previously i was on H1B(when i entered the country) and i dont have to worry about the new H1B qouta.
