Applying for Green Card

This other company (B) is willing to file for vinnies Green Card. In GC approval there are 4 major stages right
I) DOL application
J) 485 application
K) 140 application
L) Change of status

Questions
1)) When should he join the company B for his application for GC to be fool proof.
2)) When will he be pushing his luck (regd joining B), what is the LAW?
3) Can he not join the company at all, and still get a valid GC.

We do not know too much about this company B, which is wiling to sponsor GC. If vinny gets his GC through B,

4) Will his GC get revoked if the company goes bankrupt and closes later.
5) Will the GC get revoked if the company didnt submit correct documents (eg financial docs) during filing, even though all of vinnies document are genuine.
7) what are the kind of things we should be worried, when picking a company for GC processing

When you get the GC.

If he does not join, you are pushing not just the luck - but the law.

No, unless you use AC-21 portability you are supposed to join this company, as for GC - you are supposed to have an intent to join the company, if BCIS finds out that you did not have an intention to join the company, they can revoke the GC.

AC-21 portability is a new variable in the game, so I cant provide much insight into it, you should consult a good lawer to successfully use this clause.

Once you have the GC, it will not matter if the company goes bankrupt, however you maybe in trouble if the company goes bankrupt before you get your GC.

If the documents are falsified (probably not the annual report, as is the case with most companies these past years), then there is a chance that GC maybe revoked.

If you are "picking" a company just for GC processing, I have no advice for you, as it is illegal to use a company just to get the GC and dump it. However if you want to follow the right way, then you should choose a company for which you would want to work - so the same rules applies.
