A friend of mine told me that when he called VSC for his 485 status the rep told him that his files are with FOIA department hence they can not tell him additional inoformation.
I guess the good thing here is that he got hold of a rep - mostly, when you reach the VSC, they just re-direct you to the call center (the generic 1-800 #), which does not have an option to talk to a rep - only recordings.
