Applying for Family Based GC in Phoenix

Hi,
I don't see much information here about people applying for Family based greencard in phoenix :( . pls share your experience, I'm applying for my family based GC(wife USC) next week :) .

Applied for both parents on August 28th, 2004 for GC. Also applied for EAD and AD at the same time. Received EAD back in early November and AD came 1st week of December, 2004. Fingerprints were done back in September after BCIS received application, so I guess all they are waiting for now is the interview.
 
I've heard lots of "stories" claiming that it takes anywhere from 12-24 months to be called for an interview in Phoenix. However based on personal experience (I filed for citizenship in September 2003 and was called for interview in February 2004), I am not sure how much of it is just hype.
I believe that in the case of both of my parents, all that is left is the interview and if the speed with which the EAD,AP and fingerprinting was done is any indication, then I would expect it to be in the next few months.
I'll keep you posted if and when they are called for an interview. Have you gone ahead and applied yet?
 
thx asian_warrior,my lawyer planning to apply on friday , he also said as per new immigrations we need to send teh documents to chicago instead of applying local here in Phoenix :confused: , not sure how long it's going to take to get my EAD & AP, any ideas??
