I will be applying for B1 through my current companey for going to US for a business visit. I have applied for US universities this year. So next year I will go for F1. I will be applying for F1 from my native country after coming back. Can anyone let me know whether my B1 visa can cause any problems later when I apply for F1. And what is "Perspective Student" status. Am I eligible for that since I will be getting admission next year and don't have anything in hand yet.
