Hi, I was selected for DV-2024 but sadly my number was too high (56k in Europe).
I am wondering what submitting the DS230 does to your future chances of getting a visa as it is proof of immigrant intent
The company I work for does send people to the US on postings for a few years - sometimes on nonimmigrant visas and sometimes on dual purpose visas (I think L visas) that have possibility of getting green card down the line
I think it prefers to do the former, but if I submitted the DS230, would that make that route harder and thus make them more likely to go down the dual-purpose route?
Feels like I am playing with fire/trying to be too clever!
