Applying for CP

Hi

If I am living in Canada and working in the US (commuting daily) and I have to file CP since I am living outside the US do I need to go back to my home country(which is India in my case) for the interview or do I have the option for attending the interview at Toronto? Can a Canadian PR do that or do you have to be a Canadian citizen?

Has anyone tried this, any issues going with either place assuming Canada is a viable option?

By the way, the US consulate in Canada is in Montreal, not Toronto.

Thanks, Montreal is not bad either, I assumed it was Toronto basically anywhere in canada is fine as long as it can be done. Just wanted final confirmation.
