Applying for citizenship with prior arrests.

In 2000 and 1996, I had 4 arrests with no convictions from domestic disputes with my ex wife. All cases were dismissed and I did not get any conviction. I got my green card in 2008 and I had no problem with the law since 2000.

Now, in 2013, I am applying for my citizenship. I will disclose all the arrests in the interview and I am wondering if theses arrests will create a negative impact during my application knowing that I had been clean and out of trouble since 2000.

Thank you for your feedbacks.

SInce there were no conviction and arrest were more than 10 years ago, there should not be a problem. Of course the only way to find out
outcome for sure is to actually apply for citizenship and let USCIS decide. So go ahead

If you disclosed those arrests during your green card process, they shouldn't give you a problem now for naturalization.

But if you failed to disclose them back then, your naturalization could be denied and you may even face deportation.
