Me and my wife are Canadian PRs. I have completed 1095 days of my residency in Canada and am eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship. My wife had to move to US for further studies and she is 1 yr short of her residency in Canada to be eligible for Citizenship.
What should I do? Should I go ahead and apply for my citizenship? Does my wife has to wait till she completes her 1059 days in Canada? Can we apply seperately even though we landed together and she was a dependent applicant with me? Or we apply together even though she is short of total time and let the Citizenship Judge decide on this?
