Applying for AP at the Los Angeles local office.

Hi Guys,

I would like to know, the experiences of fellow members of this portal, who have tried to apply for an Advance Parole, from the local office in Los Angeles, CA.

My I-485 has been filed in the Vermont Service Center. My current Advance Parole, is expiring in Feb 2004.

If you have applied and received the same, could you please post your details.

Your help is sincerely appreciated.
 
Its taking way too long in VSC...

There are some people, who are waiting in VSC with Advance Parole receipt date of Sept 2003.

I guess, I wasn't that proactive.

I thought, applying in local office, would cut down the wait time substantially. There were cases, where people have got same day AP in New Jersey local offices.

Just giving it a try...
