I filed for I-485 in July 1999. I did not apply for Advance Parole at that time. I would like to travel to India this December to attend my sisters wedding. Can I go to local INS office (Baltimore in my case) and apply for AP?. I am currently on H1, but my wife is using EAD to work. Do I need to show any evidence or proof to apply for AP?. What documents do I need to carry?. Any one with experience in getting AP from Baltimore?
