Applying for a US passport. Strike one.

Even though it clearly states the "Certificate of Naturalization" is an acceptable form of identification on the back of the passport application it's still apparently up to the discretion of the US state department to accept it or not.

So, without State ID you cannot apply for a US passport.

What a nightmare.

did u also put in driver's license etc?
why is this a big deal .. why do they've have to be so silly after u've got ur natz cert??
i'm about to apply this wk - concerned about diff in address though. what if the address i fill on my pport app is diff from that currently on driver's license .. could that cause a problem?
