Applying for a new Indian passport after filing N400

Hello All :

My Indian passport will expire in March 06. I am planning on filing N400 in next couple of weeks.

After I have filed my N400, can I renew my Indian passport ?

Hi Thiaga,

Until the moment you take the naturalization oath, you are still a permanent resident and a citizen of India. So, there is no reason why you should not be able to renew your passport.
