I have a couple of queries pertaining to H4 Visa and I will try to keep them simple. I am getting married in Dec and applying for a new H4 Visa for my wife.
1) I have my W2 for 2002 and it indicates a wage which is lesser than the one indicated on my LCA. My company pay me the Allowance and not the salary and the tax is taken care of by the comp. Is it going to create a problem while filing for my wife's H4 as there is a significant difference between the figure on LCA and the W2.
Also I came to US in March 2002. But the W2 doesn't mention any dates as from 'when to when' the Tax is calculated. If this is going to create a problem what can be done to avoid this.
2) Also I would like to know if I want to set up an appointment for a future date at Mumbai consulate say for eg 15 December. Can I do it now without submitting any documents.
