Applying EAD and AP (URGENT HELP)

I need to renew my EAD and AP soon. I wish to know if I can file EAD and AP by msyelf without the help of my lawyer either through paper or efiling. Is there any advantage/disadvantage over efiling of EAD and AP.

Advantage with E-File is you get the receipt number immediately,paperbased may take 30days(worst case) to get the receipt number.

Disadvantage with E-file, you have to take appointment with local USCIS support centre for finger print & photo..

Yes, RFE will come at the adress you metion on the application.

And before you come up with another question, let me clarify once you file personally, USCIS will deal with you only regareding everything concerning that application. It does not matter if the I-485 was filed through he lawyer. Each application is processed independently and whatever the adress is mentioned on that application, rules.
 
Is it Receipt date or Notice date

can any one please answer...
Do we need to look for Receipt date or Notice date (90 days period)if we trying to get iEAD.My Notice date 02/13/06 and receipt date is 02/17/06.should i wait untill 05/17 or 05/13 to get my iEAD?
