Hi folks, seeking light from your infinite wisdom....
I recently finished my masters degree and I'm looking for employment with sponsorship for H1 B status (already have some prospects)..the question is, if I have:
- U.S. Master's degree completed in the field of prospect employment (need to wait for diploma in May, but school will issue a letter certifying completion AND official transcripts) in the field of work (yes, I was under F status, but couldnt apply for OPT on time...no one told me about it);
-Bachelor's in unrelated field;
-Three years as J-1 working in US in the same field I'd be sponsored for...J-1 status ended last summer -changed to F to complete degree- and went home, so I do have proven work exp track in the US;
....looking back to what you've seen and heard, what do you feel are my prospects for getting an H1 B visa approved (in Toronto, most likely?) Also..can the Labor Cert be obtained within two weeks or so? Employers would need me by mid January...
