I am in the USA with J-1 now and my J-1 visa expires in October 2009. I am accepted to US school in August with funding. I already received I-20.
I am going to apply for F1 in my home country in July because my J-1 waiver is pending.
Anyone has experience like me?Or you happen to come across such experience?
Do you think applying for F1 visa will be fine while J-1 waiver is pending?
Does US consulate in my country will know I am applying for waiver? If they know and ask,what should I answer?
I am concerned it will affect my F1 visa application?
I need help so I can prepare for my interview.
