Hi,
I shall be applying for my F1 visa in May month. While my employer is asking to apply for H1 now and it will take 4 months appx to get H1 visa stamped. Hence, if I apply my H1 then by the time I will apply for F1 visa, my H1 visa will be already under processing.
What I could find out that this should not be a problem. I can apply my F1 visa even when H1 is under process. But the problem is will this hurt my chances of getting F1 visa. Will the counsulate know abt my application of H1 visa, as this can make them feel that I can be a possible immigrant.
Please let me know what should I do in this case. If there is any chances of rejection of F1 visa in this case, then I will avoid applying H1 visa.
