Apply EAD by myself

Hi Guys

Would it be possible I apply for EAD on my own after the I140 is approved? Do we still need employer's approval? My company
is gona to renew my H1 visa, but to be safe, I want to have
EAC as well. Please advise.

After the I-140 is approved u can file I-485.
Only after filing I-485, can u file EAD.
U can file EAD by urselves or use a lawyer.

I did concurrent filing on 140/485.

So there is no problem to file EAD by myself ? Anybody
wanna share the experience on how to proceed?

There is absolutely no problem filing EAD by yourself either at the time of I-485 filing or after that.
 
Hi, Thanks. Do you know if I can do it by e-filing.

What concerns me is that per information on Immigration.gov,
the Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative
is needed . Do you have any idea about this?

Hi,

I am also in similar situation. But I don't have recipt hard copies, just I have recipt numbers for online status checking.
Still can I apply for EAD?

According to a immigration website (I actually don't remember it correctly) you can take a print-out of the online status as proof of your application also. I 'll try to find and post the URL.
